Christopher-lee dos Santos
CEO / Director / Screenwriter / Executive Producer
Since an early age Chris has always been a dreamer. From writing comic strips in primary school to making home made films with class friends in high school. He always knew his calling was filmmaking. He followed that calling, attending AFDA film school in Johannesburg where he graduated with an Honours Bachelors of Arts degree in Directing and Screenwriting for Motion Picture. At the age of 26, Chris co financed and completed his first feature film, selling it to over 32 territories at Berlinale in 2013, Chris used the profits to build DS Films Entertainment. Today, he has directed four feature films, two of which he has written and co executive produced. He recently won an international Best Screenplay award in Boston USA, for writing the film Last Broken Darkness. He runs DS Films Entertainment with his brother Robert and is represented by Magnolia Entertainment in Los Angeles, USA.

Robert Anthony dos Santos
Producer / Attorney
Robert has always had creative flair since he was young. A storyteller at heart, a musician in soul, a scholar by mind. Robert studied LLB Law at University of Johannesburg and practiced as an attorney for three years before eventually succumbing to his true calling. He left law practice to follow his dream in the film industry. Robert is a passionate human being, giving more than 110% to see that a story gets the best attention it needs for it to flourish. Robert starting out as an offline editor at DS Films, working on and cutting local South African Feature films for clients like MNET and Kyknet, before heading the Cape Town office producing a feature documentary in 2017. He is currently head of sales and producing at DS Films Entertainment. He is also the founder and CEO of DS Films’ sister company “and.” advertising agency, a boutique ad agency specializing in creating incredible content for this incredible digital age.
